Why Boozy Ice Cream Tastes So Darned Good

The freezing point of water is 32°F while alcohol freezes at a MUCH colder temperature, so when alcohol is added to ice cream, the freezing point lowers. Putting booze in ice cream can actually make the consistency softer for some recipes, giving our hand-crafted ice cream an even more decadent profile. Who knew alcohol and ice cream made such a perfect pair?

Not all ice cream is created equal; many ice cream shops claim to be boozy but only sprinkle in a small amount of alcohol or simply use flavorings. The alcohol-infused ice cream industry is booming but our boozy, creamy adult treats are unlike any other you will find in the country.

Just like a cocktail, it takes skill to craft each one of our small-batch creams. Too much booze and the ice cream will be too soft to scoop, not to mention the flavor will be unpalatable.
