Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery, the only all-natural micro-creamery in the state of Missouri, has announced their flavors for spring, including a brand new black cherry ice cream made with activated charcoal. The new flavors are available now at the ice cream shop located at 1637 S. 18 th Street in Lafayette Square.
“The Black Cherry Ash is sure to be a new favorite for adventurous palates,” said Tamara Keefe, owner of Clementine’s. “I’ve taken Amarena cherries infused with activated charcoal, a hard-to- find ingredient, to create a smooth, pitch black ice cream that has awesome health benefits as well.” Activated charcoal is a potent natural treatment used to trap toxins and chemicals in the body, allowing them to be flushed out so the body doesn’t reabsorb them.
Joining the Black Cherry Ash on the rail is Keefe’s bright-red Beet Strawberry Sorbet (organic cold-pressed beet juice and fresh strawberries), Blackberry Buttermilk (local Missouri organic blackberries and scratch-made buttermilk blended with sweet dairy) and a decadent White Chocolate Cherry (white chocolate ice cream with Amarena cherry chocolate swirl ). For the boozy ice cream enthusiasts, Keefe has also created a B-52 flavor in honor of Mardi Gras (Kahlua, Irish Crème and Triple Sec).
