Our version starts with salted caramel ice cream and our homemade recipe for cracker candy, a mixture of saltines, pretzels, chocolate, and salted caramel, with a sprinkle of salt.
The caramel ribbons in the cracker candy and drizzle in the ice cream base highlight the delicious caramel ice cream taste.
Caramel Sauce
Caramel is what happens when sugar meets heat and transforms. Hot sugar cooks, melts, bubbles and slowly changes color and flavor, evolving into a rich, buttery and intensely aromatic sauce.
We make all our own salted caramel sauce and candies for our ice cream.
Ice Cream Base
To make the perfect caramel ice, we mix cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and other yummy ingredients from our amazing recipe. Then our ice cream producers batch-freeze it, a process in which the liquid ice cream mix is whipped with air and frozen!
The smooth salted caramel ice cream comes out of the freezer, we add in the cracker candy, and that's how the customer favorite, Salted Caramel ice cream, is made!
