FREE Root Beer Floats!

We're celebrating National Root Beer Float Day on Sunday, August 6th by serving up FREE root beer floats at our new location in Clayton located at 730 DeMun near the Forest Park and Washington University. Floats will be given out for lucky customers during the first hour of operation beginning at 11 a.m. (while supplies last).

What better way to welcome our loyal customers to our new location than by offering this sweet deal in honor of National Root Beer Float Day!” said Tamara Keefe, our Flavor Temptress.  “We
use Frostie root beer in our signature root beer floats, it’s the best tasting pure cane sugar soda created by Excel. We are proud to carry a full line of Excel Sodas in our shops and are continuously coming up with delicious new float creations.”

“Our root beer delivers a smooth vanilla taste with subtle wintergreen and anise flavor. Paired with Clementine’s ice cream, you will not find a tastier float anywhere in St. Louis.” said Aaron Albers of Excel Bottling Company. “We are looking forward to sharing the excitement on Sunday!”

Excel Bottling Company produces flavored soda using cane sugar, returnable bottles, and vintage bottling equipment. The county’s favorite soft drink, Ski, was added in 1961 and accounts for the majority of soda produced. They are one of a few remaining “mom & pop” bottlers left in the nation and the only returnable bottling line left in Illinois. Aside from bottling soda, the plant produces syrup for use on fountain equipment.

Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery is the only micro-creamery in the state of Missouri.Located in historic Lafayette Square in St. Louis, with a second location now in Clayton, all of the dairy used in our creations is from local, grass-fed, pasture-raised, hormone and RBST free cows. We combine our all natural proprietary dairy base with the finest handpicked ingredients to churn up a decadent 16-18% butterfat ice cream. In addition to ice cream, gelato, sorbet and European sipping chocolate, Clementine’s also boasts a bodacious line of patent-pending boozy ice cream delights. The shop is open Sunday-Thursday from 11am-
10pm, and 11am-11pm on Friday and Saturday.
