Tamara Keefe is the Founder and CEO of Clementine's Ice Cream, an award-winning microcreamery known for its chef-driven flavors and uncompromising production standards. Known affectionately as the "Flavor Temptress," Keefe built Clementine's around a simple belief: ice cream is more than dessert. It is a shared experience that brings people together.
Her love of ice cream began in childhood, when her family made it at home with a $2 hand-crank ice cream maker. What started as a simple family tradition became the inspiration for a company built on imagination, craftsmanship, and community. After stepping away from a high-profile marketing career, Keefe founded Clementine's in 2015 with a vision to create ice cream that pushes the boundaries of flavor while honoring the nostalgia people feel for their favorite scoop.
Today, Clementine's Ice Cream operates parlors across Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, and Arkansas, with plans for continued expansion. The company produces all of its ice cream at a 25,000-square-foot production and distribution facility in North St. Louis, ships nationwide through Goldbelly, and serves private events through its premier catering program.
Keefe has received numerous honors for her leadership, including:
• Ernst & Young Entrepreneurial Winning Women North America
• U.S. Small Business Administration Business Person of the Year for Missouri
• St. Louis Business Journal's Most Influential Businesswomen
• St. Louis Development Corporation's Business of the Year
She is a fellow of both the Tory Burch Foundation and the James Beard Foundation and remains deeply committed to mentoring and supporting the next generation of women entrepreneurs.
