A few years ago, my best friend decided to go Vegan. However, she complained constantly that she missed ice cream and that the “substitutions” out there were horrible. So after months of whining, begging and pleading I put my R&D hat on and went to work. I needed to create a vegan ice cream that actually tasted like ice cream, rich, decadent and oh so yummy. It took me a while but I came up with a coconut milk Vegan base that I was proud of. My first flavor, Chocolate Coconut Fudge was created with the help of Alan Mclure from Patric Chocolate, the big daddy of the bean to bar chocolate world, and master chocolatier. I am happy to say that our Vegan Chocolate Coconut Fudge is still offered in the shop today and available in pints to go. We have other flavors that come and go in pints but that one will never the rail. Why? Well, every time I try to switch out another flavor there is public outcry and we receive all kinds of emails and messages on social media to bring it back. Hence, it will never leave….we have too much of a cult following for it..Try it and you will see!
